wild rushing waters Have you heard what the people say? Coming nearer and nearer... A curse took shape A red mask hid a face nobody wished to see Everyone terribly frightened The prince took heart and yelled "Who dares to disturb my fete?" Silence... The shape made a few steps And let the mask fall down Red death had arrived Icarus part I On a desert Island Lived a lonely man Imprisoned by the sea There was no way to flee Once standing by the sea shore By watching the endless sky Seagulls gave him the key to a door To a world with feelings so high And the waves said "yeah" There is so much life There is so much love So many things you're only dreaming of So while another evening Brought to an end another day He knew (already dreaming) That he had to go away When the sun next day rose with might A pair of wings were made He was ready for the great flight To long he had to wait And the waves said: "yeah" So he started to fly Icarus part II You see now the world Try to see! Are your dreams now satisfied? After days of joy in the new world...
